You can now order your NAATI translation on WhatsApp

Need a NAATI certified translation? From AU$69, delivered in 24 hours to your inbox.
Order from Whatsapp available

Most of the people we translate for are already living on WhatsApp. It’s where they talk to family back home, where their share house group chat lives, and increasingly where they ask us questions before placing an order. So we’ve made the obvious move: you can now order a NAATI certified translation entirely inside a WhatsApp conversation.

Nothing changes about the translation itself. Same NAATI certified translators, same 24 hour turnaround, same price. What changes is how you get there.

What the WhatsApp order looks like

Here’s the whole process from your side.

  1. Open the chat. Tap the WhatsApp button on any page of ezy-translate.com, or message us directly at +61 494 925 653. The link pre-fills a short hello so you don’t have to think about what to write.
  2. Send your document. A photo from your phone camera is fine, as long as the whole page is in frame and the text is readable. A PDF works too. If your document has several pages, send them all in the same message or one after the other.
  3. Tell us the language and what it’s for. “French driver’s licence for VicRoads” or “Spanish birth certificate for a partner visa” is enough. The purpose matters because a few authorities have their own formatting rules, and we’d rather get that right the first time.
  4. Get your price. We reply with the page count and the total. It’s the same flat pricing as the website: AU$69 for the first page and AU$49 for each additional page, with no surcharges for certification, delivery or file format.
  5. Pay by secure link. We send a payment link. You pay by card, in the browser, without creating an account or typing card details into the chat. We never ask for card numbers over WhatsApp, and you shouldn’t send them.
  6. Receive your translation. A NAATI certified translator is assigned as soon as payment lands. Within 24 hours you get the finished PDF, stamped and signed, straight back in the chat and also by email so you have a copy in your inbox.

That’s it. No form, no upload page, no password to remember.

When WhatsApp makes more sense than the website

The website ordering flow isn’t going anywhere, and for most people it’s still the fastest route: pick the document, pick the language, upload, pay, done. But there are a few situations where a conversation works better.

You’re not sure what you need. If you don’t know whether your document needs translating at all, or whether a NAATI translation will be accepted for what you’re doing, ask before paying. We’d rather answer a question than process a refund.

Your document isn’t on the list. Driver’s licences, birth certificates, diplomas and police checks cover most orders, but we also translate payslips, rental references, medical letters, employment contracts and a long tail of documents that don’t fit a dropdown. On WhatsApp you just send it and we quote it.

You have a lot of pages. Bank statements, long police records, a stack of WhatsApp screenshots for a partner visa. Dropping forty photos into a chat is easier than uploading them one by one, and we can confirm the exact page count before you pay.

You’re on your phone with a bad connection. Rural Western Australia, a hostel wifi that drops out every ten minutes, a farm with one bar of 4G. WhatsApp handles patchy connections better than a browser upload, and the photos send in the background while you get on with your day.

You’d rather talk to a person. Some people just prefer it. That’s fine.

How to take a photo that won’t get sent back

Nearly every delay we see on photo orders comes down to the same handful of problems. Avoid these and your order goes straight to the translator.

  • Lay the document flat on a plain surface, in daylight or under a ceiling light. Avoid shadows from your hand or phone.
  • Get the whole page in frame, including the edges and any stamps or seals in the corners. Cropped stamps are the number one reason we ask for a resend.
  • Hold the phone parallel to the page, not at an angle. Keystoned photos make small text hard to read.
  • Check it yourself before sending. Zoom in. If you can’t read a date or a reference number, neither can the translator.
  • Send both sides of a licence or ID card, even if the back looks empty. Most licences have the category table on the back, and VicRoads and TMR both want it.
  • For multi-page documents, send the pages in order and say how many there are. “Four pages, police check” saves a round of back and forth.

If you have a scanner or a scanning app, a PDF is always welcome, but a careful phone photo is good enough for almost everything we translate.

Is it secure?

Your document contains your name, date of birth, address and often an ID number. That’s exactly the kind of data you should be careful with, so here’s how it works.

WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted in transit. On our side, the document goes to the single NAATI certified translator assigned to your order and nobody else. We don’t post your files in group chats or forward them around. Once the translation is delivered, you can delete the conversation from your phone whenever you like.

Payment never happens inside the chat. The link we send takes you to a standard card payment page, the same one the website uses, so your card details never touch WhatsApp at all.

If you’d prefer to use the website’s encrypted upload rather than a messaging app, that option is still there and always will be.

What stays the same

It’s worth being clear about what hasn’t changed, because the channel is new but the product isn’t.

  • Every translation is done by a NAATI certified translator and carries the stamp, signature and credential number that Home Affairs, DFAT, universities and licensing bodies look for. If you want to know what that looks like on the page, we’ve written a guide to every element on a NAATI stamp.
  • Turnaround is 24 hours from the moment we have a clear copy and payment, whichever channel you use.
  • Pricing is identical: AU$69 first page, AU$49 per additional page. Visa packages at AU$109 and AU$159 are still available on the website, and we can apply the same bundle pricing on WhatsApp if you tell us which package you’re after.
  • Our acceptance guarantee applies in full. If an Australian authority rejects a translation for a reason attributable to our work, we re-issue it free or refund you.

Start on WhatsApp

Send a photo of your document to +61 494 925 653, or tap the WhatsApp button on this page. Tell us the language and what it’s for, and we’ll come back with the price. Most people have their translation in hand the next day.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create an account to order on WhatsApp?
No. There’s no account, login or form. The conversation is the order.

Is the price different on WhatsApp?
No. It’s AU$69 for the first page and AU$49 per additional page on both channels, with no extra fees.

Can I pay inside WhatsApp?
We send a secure card payment link in the chat. The payment itself happens on a standard payment page in your browser, not inside the app. Never send card details as a message.

Will the translation be delivered on WhatsApp or by email?
Both. You get the PDF in the chat and a copy to your email address so it’s easy to find later.

Can I order several documents in one conversation?
Yes. Send everything in the same chat and we’ll quote the total. Bundle pricing applies if your documents match one of our visa packages.

What if my photo isn’t good enough?
We’ll tell you straight away and ask for a clearer one. The 24 hour clock starts once we have a readable copy and payment.

Is a WhatsApp order as official as a website order?
Yes. Same NAATI certified translators, same stamp, same acceptance guarantee. Authorities don’t know or care how you placed the order.

Can I ask a question before ordering?
That’s one of the best reasons to use WhatsApp. If you’re not sure whether you need a translation, or which one, ask first.
